Bow hunt the magnificent Brush Country of South Texas, home to many record book Whitetail deer. We have 4000 acres of medium to heavy brush that has not been bow hunted before. We offer lodging and accommodations, some transportation, guide service if requested and fishing.
Location: 1 mile north of Tilden, Texas, on Highway 16 at the Junction of Highway 72 in McMullen County.
Lodging Facilities:
Our facilities include: air conditioning, refrigerator, oven, coffee pot, cooking utensils, bunk beds, microwave, and bathroom. Also provided is a barbeque pit, mesquite firewood, and skinning facilities. You will be 1/2 mile from the local cafe, motel, and mercantile store should you need provisions or prefer alternatives.
Finer accommodations providing private room and bath are available at the ranch at extra cost. These facilities may also be reserved for spouses or family. No smoking is allowed.
Booking:
We are taking reservations for all hunts. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee a booking. In most cases, the deposit must be paid within two weeks of booking. We will be glad to design a package to suit your
desires.

Any package may be extended with approval and provided there are hunting slots available. Custom packages offered upon request. Pricing will depend upon the quality of animals in inventory at the time of booking.
No Kill Fees:
However there will be replacement costs if you elect to take an animal not in
your package or basic hunt. Replacement costs will be posted in the
bunkhouse.
Texas License Requirements:
Type 101: resident $19.00
Type 105: General Non-Resident ( yearly ) - $250
Type 107: Non-Resident Special Exotic ( yearly ) - $100
Type 157: Non-Resident Exotic ( 5 day ) - $35
Archery stamp required to hunt deer or turkey in "Archery Only" open
season. Turkey stamp may also be needed. All licenses may be
purchased in Tilden at the local mercantile store.
Limits and Fees:
* Subject to the State of Texas game laws.
* Yearling deer and bucks in
velvet may not be shot.
* Basic ( hog ) hunting is $75/day (limit 1).
* Sheep or Goat hunt is $125/day (limit 1).
* Exotic Bucks (limit 1, no Does) are $200/day
* Fallow Bucks (limit 1, no
Does) are $250 per day (2 day minimum) .
* There is no trophy or kill fee.
* All hunts have a 2 day
minimum.
* No Whitetail Does allowed in October.
* Children under 14 are
only $50/day with same rules.
* Hunters who have completed the International
Bowhunters Education Course receive a 10% discount on packages.
* Absolutely NO FIREARMS of any kind are allowed on the premises
* We do not
permit the use of mechanical broadheads, locking devices or crossbows.
* Any
wounded animal counts as a kill.

You may arrive at the lodge at noon prior to the first day of your hunt. Hunts start on noon the first day and end at noon on the last day. Price includes lodging facilities (bunkhouse) and hunt limits. Hunts are semi guided. Guide and tracking fees are posted separately. Some transportation is provided. ATV's are no longer welcome. Feed routes are run every day. Protein is fed year round. A periodic inventory of animals known to be in the pasture will be posted in the bunkhouse. Any specific "ranch rules" will also be posted.
